 المؤتمر القومي العربي يدين التفجيرات في لندن

 على الرغم من أن السياسة البريطانية الرسمية، ومواقف حكومة توني بلير، تبْدي انحيازاً سافراً للسياسة الأمريكية تجاه قضايا الوطن العربي، وتُشارِكُها احتلال العراق والتنكيل بشعبه، ودعمَ الكيان الصهيوني، فإن المؤتمر القومي العربي يدين الاعتداءات التي كانت لندن مسرحاً لها هذا اليوم ( الخميس السابع من تموز/يوليو 2005 )، ويرى فيها، اياً كانت الجهات التي وراءها، جريمة نكراء في حق مدنيين أبرياء ليسوا مسؤولين عن سياسات حكومتهم، وسبباً جديداً للتضييق على العرب والمسلمين المقيمين في بريطانيا وسائر أوروبا والولايات المتحدة الأمريكية، ومادة يُتَذَرَّع بها للنيل من صورة العرب والإسلام لدى كثير من دوائر الإعلام وصناعة القرار في الغرب .

إن على حكومة بريطانيا، كما على الإدارة الأمريكية، أن تتوقف أمام دلالات مثل هذه التفجيرات التي تقع على أراضيها، وأن تستنتج منها النتائج المناسبة، فتدرك أن إمعانها في العدوان على الشعوب، وغزو أراضيها، وهتك سيادتها، وتغيير أنظمتها بالقوة، والوقوف إلى جانب الكيان الصهيوني ضد حقوق شعب فلسطين، إنما تؤسّس لكل أنواع التطرف السياسّي والديّني التي تعود عليها بأوخم النتائج، فتؤدي إلى نقل المعارك معها إلى داخل بلدانها كما حصل في نيويورك وواشنطن وبنسلفانيا ومدريد ولندن، ويدفع ثمنها أبرياء .

وإذ يتقدم المؤتمر القومي العربي بعبارات مشاعر التعزية والمواساة لأهالي الضحايا الأبرياء، الذين نُكٍبُوا بهذه الجريمة النكراء، يطالب الحكومة البريطانية بسحب جيشها المحتل من العراق، وإعادة النظر في مواقفها المنحازة للسياسة الأمريكية، وتغيير نظرتها الى قضايانا العربية المصيرية، والتزام قواعد القانون الدولي ومرجعيته .

Afif Safieh, the Palestinian General Delegate to the United Kingdom, extends his sincere condolences to Prime Minister Tony Blair and to the Mayor of London Ken Livingston and through them to the families and friends of the victims of yesterday’s horrific attacks.

Safieh unequivocally condemns these barbaric and unjustifiable acts whoever the perpetrator and feels confident that British public opinion, which has shown repeatedly adherence to the highest ethical standards, will not allow them to deteriorate inter -community relations.  The British Muslims and the British Arab communities are law-abiding communities enjoying increasing recognition of their contribution to British society.

One of the aims of yesterday’s terrorist operations was to deteriorate inter -community relations and to try to pre-empt the gradual integration of the Muslim community.

That aim should not be allowed to be achieved.

المؤتمر الشعبي يدين استهداف المدنيين في لندن:

المواجهة الحقيقية للصهيونية والاستعمار هي في فلسطين والعراق وليست البطولة

في أعمال جبانة تضر بمصالح الأمة وحقوقها

أصدرت اللجنة التنفيذية في المؤتمر الشعبي اللبناني برئاسة الأخ كمال شاتيلا بياناً دان استهداف المدنيين في لندن، وأكد أن المواجهة الحقيقية للصهيونية والاستعمار هي في فلسطين والعراق وأن البطولة ليست في أعمال جبانة تضر بمصالح الأمة وحقوقها، وجاء في البيان:

إن تفجيرات لندن الاجرامية عملية مدانة ومستنكرة من موقع ديني ووطني وقومي من حيث المبدأ، وكلنا نتذكر ان أقوى التظاهرات العالمية ضد الغزو الأمريكي البريطاني للعراق انطلقت من لندن حيث بلغت المشاركة الشعبية البريطانية في إحدى التظاهرات ثلاثة ملايين متظاهر، أعلنوا معارضتهم للحرب على العراق ومساندة حق الشعب الفلسطيني في الاستقلال، رافضين الحملة الصهيونية على العرب والمسلمين.

ولقد كانت الكنيسة الانغليكانية بقيادة الدكتور روان وليامز في طليعة كنائس العالم التي وجّهت رسائلها للرئيسين جورج بوش وتوني بلير معلنة براءة المسيحية الأصيلة من هذا العمل الإستعماري.

كما كانت حركة النائب البريطاني جورج غالوي العظيمة بالغة التأثير في الرأي العام البريطاني ووصلت إلى حد تهديد موقع بلير في رئاسة الحكومة بعد أن تحرّك معظم النواب العمّال ضد رئيسهم لوقف الحرب على العراق.

وتابع البيان: فحينما يتحرك فاقدوا العقل والضمير والشعور بالمسؤولية، لتفجير واغتيال مدنيين أبرياء إنكليز وعرب ومسلمين، فإنهم بفعلتهم هذه يؤلّبون رأياً عاماً واسعاً في بريطانيا وفي أوروبا عملياً، ضد مصالحنا كافة وضد قضايانا كعرب، بل ويشجعون منطق صراع الحضارات بدلاً من حوار الحضارات، ويقوّضون مصداقية المسلمين ويضيفوا إلى صورتنا المشوّهة أصلاً إضافات مرعبة تسيئ إلى الإسلام العظيم، دين الاعتدال والانفتاح والحضارة.

وختم بيان المؤتمر الشعبي: إننا نطالب كافة المراجع الإسلامية العربية والعالمية والمؤسسات الأهلية والقادة السياسيين بإطلاق أوسع حملة استنكار لهذه الجريمة التي ارتكبت بحق الأبرياء, ليعرف الرأي العام العالمي أن الأغلبية الساحقة من المسلمين بريئة من هذه الأعمال المشينة التي تتعارض مع القيم العربية والأخلاقية العربية.

إن المواجهة الحقيقية للصهيونية والاستعمار هي على أرض فلسطين ضد الصهاينة المحتلين، وضد قوات الإحتلال الأجنبي في العراق المنكوب الذي يقاتل شعبه ببسالة أسطورية لدحر الإحتلال وتحرير الأرض وتحقيق الإستقلال، وليست البطولة في أعمال جبانة ضارة بثوابت الأمة ومصالحها وحقوقها.

   ادلى الوزير السابق بشارة مرهج بالتصريح الاتي حول  تفجير الانفاق في لندن ونداء سمير القنطار:

        أن العمل الإجرامي الذي استهدف لندن وأهلها وسكانها لا تقره شريعة ولا يقبل به ضمير. انه عمل يستدعي الاستنكار والتنديد ولا وجود لأي ذريعة يمكن ان تغطي بشاعته.

        وفي قلب الفاجعة التي شعر بها البريطانيون وسكان الأرض جميعا لا بد من التوقف قليلا أمام الأبعاد السياسية لهذا الحدث الفظيع الذي يرفضه العقل والدين على حد سواء.

        فمهما كان الجرح بليغا والألم عميقا جراء الجريمة التي ارتكبتها الحكومة البريطانية بتسليم فلسطين إلى الحركة الصهيونية وتجدد هذه الجريمة في احتلال الجيوش البريطانية والأمريكية للعراق فان المؤمنين ، أينما كانوا  ولأي دين أو مذهب انتموا، يرفضون اخذ البريء بجريرة المسيء والانتقال إلى مواقع الظلم والإرهاب كما جرى في أنفاق المترو حيث سقط أبرياء كل ذنبهم أنهم من أهل الكد والنشاط يذهبون إلى أعمالهم بواسطة النقل العام.

        أن دماء الضحايا كما الجرحى الذين سقطوا نتيجة هذا العمل الإجرامي المدان يجب أن تلهم المسؤولين الدوليين، الذين يتحدثون يوميا عن الحرية والديمقراطية وحقوق الإنسان، بالمبادرة إلى تفعيل الحلول السياسية العادلة في كل البلدان المقهورة والعمل الفوري لتطبيق قرارات الشرعية الدولية وإزالة كل أشكال الاحتلال وتسليم زمام الأمور في الفترة الانتقالية إلى الأمم المتحدة والمنظمات الإقليمية لسحب فتيل التفجير الذي يهدد الاستقرار العالمي ويلحق افدح الخسائر بالأمم والشعوب التي تتطلع إلى قيام جبهة عالمية جديدة تناضل ضد الفقر والمرض والتخلف وتعطي الحياة الإنسانية قيمتها  الحقيقية على قاعدة الاستقلال والمساواة والكرامة.

        وفي هذا المجال حبذا لو يتسع الوقت لهؤلاء المسؤولين للاستماع إلى نداء سمير القنطار الذي لا يزال وراء القضبان الإسرائيلية منذ ربع قرن ونيف دون أن يخسر ذرة واحدة من صموده الإنساني وروحه المعطاء فيعلمنا من سجنه دروسا في التضحية الإنسانية لم تخطر في بال الكبار.

        إننا إذ نتوجه بواجب العزاء إلى الشعب البريطاني الذي وقف مع القضية الفلسطينية وضد الحرب على العراق نتقدم أيضا من مصر العزيزة بالعزاء بعد أن نالت يد الجريمة من حياة سفيرها في بغداد.

رسالتي موجهه للشعب البريطاني وتحديدا سكان لندن  لقد عشتم لمدة ساعات  لحظات هلع ورعب  وخلال هذه الساعات فقدتم  فرد من العائلة أو صديق ونصدقكم القول إننا  نشعر بالأسى عندما تزهق روح بشريه وكم يؤلمنا أن نشاهد   الهلع والألم على  وجهه إنسان  فلقد  عشنا هذه الحالة ومازلنا نعيشها كل يوم  منذ إن تحالفت بلادكم والولايات المتحدة  وخططتا العدوان على العراق .

رئيس وزراء  بلدكم توني بلير ذكر إن من قام  بهذه التفجيرات فعلها باسم الإسلام  و وزيرة خارجية الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية  كوندليزا رايس وصفت التفجيرات بالعمل البربري أما مجلس الأمن اجتمع  و أدان  الحادث  بالإجماع  .

فاسمحوا لنا يا شعب بريطانيا الحر   أن نسألكم   باسم من حُصرت  بلادنا طوال لأثنى عشر سنه   وباسم من قصفت المدن  بالأسلحة  المحرمة و  باسم من قتل  الجيش البريطاني العراقيين  وعذبهم  أباسمكم أم باسم الدين أم باسم الإنسانية والحرية والديمقراطية .

وبماذا  تصفون قتل أكثر من مليوني طفل  وبماذا تصفون تلويث الأرض والماء

بماذا تصفون ما يحدث في السجون في العراق في أبو غريب وبوكا وغيرها من السجون  بماذا تصفون تعذيب النساء والرجال والأطفال بماذا تصفون تفخيخ أجسام المعتقلين وقتلهم بماذا تصفون  التفنن بأساليب التعذيب  التي استخدمت ضد  الأسرى العراقيين   من تمزيق جلودهم  وإطفاء السجائر في أجسادهم   وإشعال النيران بشعر الرأس  بولاعات  السجائر  هل كلمه بربرية  تفي  بالغرض لوصف ما فعله جنودكم في العراق  .

 وهل لنا أن نسال لماذا  لم يدين  مجلس الأمن  مذبحة  العامرية وما حدث في الفلوجه وتلعفر والصدر والنجف لماذا يشاهد العالم قتلنا وعذابنا ولا  يدين  الجرائم التي ترتكب بحقنا  هل انتم بشر ونحن لسنا بشر هل انتم تألمون و نحن لا نألم   بل نحن أكثر من يعرف حجم  الألم  الذي تعيشه أم فقدت  طفلتها وأب فقد عائلته نعرف كم هو مؤلم أن تفقد  من تحب.

انتم لا تعرفون شهدائنا لكننا نعرفهم ولا تذكرونهم ولكننا نذكرهم ولا تبكونهم ولكننا نبكيهم 

فهل سمعتم باسم  الطفلة حنان صالح مطرود  و الفتى أحمد جابر كريم  و  سعيد شبرام

نعم قتلانا لهم أسماء ولهم ملامح ولهم قصص  وذكريات  كانوا يوما بيننا يضحكون ويلعبون وكانت لهم أحلام  كما لكم   وكان لهم غدا  لكنهم اليوم ينامون بيننا  بلا غد ليستيقظوا

نحن   لا نحمل الكراهية  للشعب البريطاني ولا لشعوب العالم  وهذه الحرب  فرضت علينا ولكننا نخوضها  دفاعا عن أنفسنا   ولأننا نريد   أن نعيش في وطننا العراق الحر أن  نعيش كما نريد لا  كما تريد حكومتكم أو حكومة أمريكا ليعلم أهالي القتلى إن  من قام بتفجيرات لندن  صباح الخميس هو توني بلير وسياسته  

فأوقفوا حربكم على شعبنا أوقفوا القتل اليومي الذي يرتكبه جنودكم  وانهوا احتلاكم لوطننا

A Letter to the British People.

From Iman Al-Saadun

I’m sending this letter to the British people and in particular to the residents of London.  For a period of hours, you have lived through moments of desperate anxiety and horror.  In those hours you lost a member of your family or a friend, and we wish to tell you in total honesty that we too grieve when human lives pass away.  I cannot tell you how much we hurt when we see desperation and pain on the face of another person.  For we have lived through this situation – and continue to live through it every day – since your country and the United States formed an alliance and laid plans to attack Iraq.

The Prime Minister of your country, Tony Blair, said that those who carried out the explosions did so in the name of Islam.  The Secretary of State of the United States, Condaleezza Rice, described the bombings as an act of barbarism.  The United Nations Security Council met and unanimously condemned the event.

I would like to ask you, the free British people, to allow me to inquire: in whose name was our country blockaded for 12 years?  In whose name were our cities bombed using internationally prohibited weapons?  In whose name did the British army kill Iraqis and torture them?  Was that in your name?  Or in the name of religion? Or humanity? Or freedom? Or democracy?

What do you call the killing of more than two million children?  What do you call the pollution of the soil and the water with depleted uranium and other lethal substances?

What do you call what happened in the prisons in Iraq – in Abu Ghraib, Camp Bucca and the many other prison camps?  What do you call the torture of men, women, and children?  What do you call tying bombs to the bodies of prisoners and blowing them apart?  What do you call the refinement of methods of torture for use on Iraqi prisoners – such as pulling off limbs, gouging out eyes, putting out cigarettes on their skin, and using cigarette lighters to set fire to the hair on their heads?  Does the word “barbaric” adequately describe the behavior of your troops in Iraq?

May we ask why the Security Council did not condemn the massacre in al-Amiriyah and what happened in al-Fallujah, Tal‘afar, Sadr City, and an-Najaf?  Why does the world watch as our people are killed and tortured and not condemn the crimes being committed against us?  Are you human beings and we something less?  Do you think that only you can feel pain and we can’t?  In fact it is we who are most aware of how intense is the pain of the mother who has lost her child, or the father who has lost his family.  We know very well how painful it is to lose those you love.

You don’t know our martyrs, but we know them.  You don’t remember them, but we remember them.  You don’t cry over them, but we cry over them.

Have you heard the name of the little girl Hannan Salih Matrud?  Or of the boy Ahmad Jabir Karim?  Or Sa‘id Shabram?

Yes, our dead have names too.  They have faces and stories and memories.  There was a time when they were among us, laughing and playing.  They had dreams, just as you have.  They had a tomorrow awaiting them.  But today they sleep among us with no tomorrow on which to wake.

We don’t hate the British people or the peoples of the world.  This war was imposed upon us, but we are now fighting it in defence of our selves.  Because we want to live in our homeland – the free land of Iraq – and to live as we want to live, not as your government or the American government wish.

Let the families of those killed know that responsibility for the Thursday morning London bombings lies with Tony Blair and his policies.  Stop your war against our people!  Stop the daily killing that your troops commit!  End your occupation of our homeland!

Rely from A British Arab to Iman Alsaadum Letter to the British People

Dear Iman Alsaadun

Thank you for your letter to the British People. 

On an occasion like this I would have liked to see a sympathetic tone and reconciliatory sentiment in the form of a message of condolences to the British people for the loss of the innocent lives especially from you who have and continues to suffer the killing and distress in Iraq.

It was the British people who went out in millions in all the British cities demonstrating against the war at a time when a similar demonstration in Iraq would have led to the extermination of those involved.

It is also the British people who set up a multitude of organisations defending Iraqis against the sanctions at a time when the ruling elites of Iraq were enjoying the most lavish existence on this earth and their leader and his family were too busy siphoning the wealth of Iraq, building palaces and celebrating their birthdays.

It is needless to mention all the atrocities and abuses of human right that we, Iraqis, have committed to our own people and neighbours in the past 50 years.  Let us be fair as the history does not forgive.

بيان صحفي حول تفجيرات لندن

 يعرب المنتدى الفلسطيني في بريطانيا عن استنكاره الشديد للهجمات التي تعرضت لها محطات القطار في لندن صباح هذا اليوم  والتي أودت بحياة العشرات من المواطنين الأبرياء وخلفت المئات من الجرحى، ويتقدم بخالص العزاء للشعب البريطاني وأهالي الضحايا، ويرجو أن لا تكون هذه العمليات سببا جديدا لتقوية الاتجاهات والتيارات الشوفينية المحلية في الدول الأوروبية والتي بدورها تهدد حياة كل المهاجرين الذين يعيشون في أوروبا وأمريكا،  أو سببا لزيادة الكراهية وإجراءات التضييق ضد العرب والمسلمين على وجه الخصوص، كما يأمل المنتدى أن لا يكون لهذه الهجمات تأثير سلبي على مستوى التأييد الذي تحظى به القضية الفلسطينية في أوساط المجتمع البريطاني، لأن هذه الأعمال مرفوضة من قبل الغالبية الساحقة من العرب والمسلمين ليس في بريطانيا فحسب بل في كل أنحاء العالم، وهي لا تعبر عن القيم الإسلامية الأصيلة التي تعتبر قتل النفس البشرية بغير حق كقتل الناس جميعا.

 كما يدعو المنتدى الحكومة البريطانية والأجهزة الرسمية إلى البحث عن المجرمين بدقة وتقديم أدلة الإثبات قبل توجيه الاتهام لأي من الجهات، وكذلك إلى المعالجة السياسية لأسباب هذه التفجيرات جنبا إلى جنب مع الإجراءات الأمنية المناسبة التي لا تتعارض مع الحقوق الأساسية للمواطنين بما فيهم أبناء الجالية العربية والإسلامية.

United in Suffering, United in Grief, United in Seeking Justice

'Whoever kills a person unjustly it is as if they have killed the whole of humanity.' (The Holy Quran, Chapter 5: verse 32).

Last Thursdays attack was a crime against all of London_s 2000 different communities. The UKs Muslim Community is united in condemning the attacks.

Unfortunately, there have already been over three hundred faith and hate crimes against the Muslim community since last Thursday, also Nottinghamshire witnessed an Islamophobic murder.

It is unacceptable for anyone who seeks to take advantage of this tragedy and use it to spread hate and violence amongst the communities in Britain.

This is the time for all of us to show resilience, tolerance and mutual support.

We must maintain and preserve our unity, anything less is a capitulation to those who seek to divide us.

There have been five anti-terrorist searches carried out today near Leeds, West Yorkshire, these searches are related to the incident last Thursday.

The MSF is working closely with the police and are being kept abreast of all major developments. 

Advise to organisations: 

(1) Contact all branches both locally and nationally and inform them of the situation. 

(2) Ask them to speak to all local mosques and vulnerable Muslim communities. 

(3) Be vigilant for any Islamophobic crimes and encourage individuals to report incidents. 

(4) Ask Mosques / Muslim centres to meet with local police, and ask for message of reassurance to community.

The MSF is the key advisory body for the Police Service and has signed a working protocol with the Metropolitan Police to build better police / community relations. It has been advising the police on matters of safety and security from the Muslim perspective for over four years now. 

It meets on a monthly basis with senior representatives of ACPO and the MPS, the MPA, Home Office and the IPCC amongst others.
